The low-ballast and penetration-free system for a wide variety of roof shapes
Sflex flat direct for foil and bitumen roofs. With flat direct, sflex offers an innovative PV mounting solution for roofs with foil or bitumen covering as well as sandwich roofs. The aerodynamic system is therefore particularly suitable for the roofs of commercial buildings with low load-bearing capacity.
The sflex flat direct can be used on a wide variety of roof shapes with a pitch of up to 30°: gable, pent or butterfly roofs, covered on one or both sides, with framed modules mounted upright.
Pre-bonded foam pads with high coefficients of friction and optimum material compatibility under the aluminium ground rails provide a secure hold with minimized ballast, while the system design with the wide air gaps between the modules not only ensures the best possible rear ventilation, but also creates a suction effect in the direction of the roof. Depending on the roof, special ridge angle connectors, counterweights or mechanical couplings provide even more security when anchoring. Any necessary ballast stones are clamped to the ground rails to prevent them from slipping.
Like all sflex fastening systems, sflex flat direct also allows for quick installation thanks to a high degree of pre-assembly and a proven modular system with pre-assembled centre and end brackets for all frame heights with simple outer click technology.
