Innovative mounting system for ground-mounted PV systems
With the new groundmount box, sflex is expanding its range of outdoor technology with a mounting system that can even be used on sensitive or difficult-to-access surfaces. What makes it special is that the groundmount box requires no foundations, pile driving, or anchors—leaving literally no traces in the ground.
The system was developed specifically for locations that were previously unsuitable or barely suitable for PV systems due to their soil conditions. These include brownfield sites, landfills, nature reserves, and water protection areas, as well as temporarily available land and leased properties.
“With the groundmount box, we are enabling new applications in outdoor PV that are difficult to implement with conventional solutions, either technically or in terms of licensing. At the same time, we are sending a clear signal in the direction of sustainability—because the system is completely removable and reusable,” says the management of sflex.
Versatile, mobile, and reusable
The groundmount box is delivered as a prefabricated unit and can be set up in just a few steps—without any groundwork. Thanks to its sturdy construction, it can be securely mounted even on uneven terrain or slightly sloping surfaces.
