PV product manager for solar energy mounting systems (Rangsdorf near Berlin or Bad Krozingen near Freiburg i. Br. and/or remote)

We are S:FLEX. A medium-sized company with over 20 years of experience in the solar industry. We successfully develop and sell mounting solutions for photovoltaic systems. Our products and services ensure that solar power systems are securely anchored – in Germany, Europe and many other countries worldwide.
Our small product management team is responsible for the further development of our product portfolios. In this role, you will take complete responsibility for a product segment, drive its development and find ways to make it more attractive and better for our customers. The entire product life cycle will be in your hands. Our team currently consists of three product managers. The responsibility and scope for creativity are correspondingly great. You can work in one of our offices in Bad Krozingen or Rangsdorf near Berlin, from a remote location in Germany or a mix of both.
This is what you can expect:
- After thorough training, you will take on the role of a product manager for a specific product segment and attend to it throughout the entire product life cycle
- This includes defining product requirements for new and further developments and documenting the development process
- You control the processes for both our established products and new developments and have operational responsibility
- You keep an eye on our customers, their needs and wishes, as well as on our competitors; you react to changing customer behavior and put the customer at the center of your activities
- You are the interface between technology, sales, marketing and purchasing and make a significant contribution to efficient collaboration so that all work towards the same goal
- You create and update technical and sales support product information in collaboration with other specialist departments
This is what you must have:
- You have successfully completed a degree in technology, energy or business administration with a focus on marketing
- Ideally, you already have experience in product management in renewable energies or with metallic products. Alternatively, you worked as a product manager in wholesale and retail
- You are familiar with efficient project management methods
- You have analytical skills and a hands-on approach
- You like to work both strategically and conceptually
- You are experienced in using MS365 and ERP systems
- You are customer-oriented, communicative and have business-fluent language skills in German and English
