The all-purpose pitched roof frame
S:FLEX mounting system with roof hooks for all types of tiled roofs
The advantages of S:FLEX tiled roof systems at a glance:
- Suitable for all standard roofing types (roof tiles, plain tiles)
- Laterally and height-adjustable roof hooks allow an absolutely flat module installation
- Installation is possible from a rafter width of just 36 mm
- For particularly high loads or for roofs with large-size tiles, we are offering our patented Hybrid and XL product line of roof hooks
- We will gladly create the structural design for our customer's projects if required – the documentation we provide includes the structural analysis as well as the rail and attachment diagram
Components
Roof hooks
Our roof hooks combine maximum load capacity with low dead weight, allow lateral and height adjustment and are easy to install. By means of corrugation and an elongated hole design, the mounting rail is secured in a friction locked and positive-fit connection.
S:FLEX wood screws
Our specially developed S:FLEX wood screws allow installation with a minimised distance to edge from a rafter width of 36 mm.
Mounting rails
For end and centre attachment, S:FLEX systems rely on particularly lightweight, structurally optimised hollow chamber rails in various profiles and lengths that feature our proven one-click technology.
Rail connectors
To ensure structurally identical properties in the area of the rails and the connections.
End and mid clamps
S:FLEX module clamps have an extremely wide clamping area and are therefore suitable for all standard modules and frame heights of 30-50 mm. High torsion resistance and our latest, ultra-smooth one-click technology make installation a snap.

The S:FLEX Flat Direct can be used on a variety of roof shapes with a maximum pitch of 30° – saddle, single-pitch or butterfly roofs, one-sided or double-sided, with framed modules installed vertically or horizontally.
Pre-glued foam pads with a high coefficient of friction and optimum material compatibility under the aluminium floor rails ensure a secure fit with minimal ballast, while the system design includes wide gaps between the modules to ensure optimal rear ventilation and create a suction effect in the direction of the roof. Depending on the roof shape, special ridge angle connectors, counterweights or mechanical couplings ensure even greater safety when anchoring. Any necessary ballast stones are clamped to the floor rails so that they cannot slip.
Like all S:FLEX mounting systems, the Flat Direct also allows quick installation thanks to a high degree of pre-assembly and our proven modular system with pre-assembled modular rails, mid and end clamps for all frame heights and our user-friendly clickable technology.
Perfect appearance and unrestricted functionality
S:FLEX insertion system with smart technical details
The advantages of the S:FLEX insertion system at a glance:
- Aesthetically pleasing modular surfaces with clean finishes for pitched roofs with any type of tile covering as well as metal roofs
- Can also be installed as a PV façade system or used on noise barrier walls and solid balustrades on balconies
- All components for a special look also available in black
- Suitable for module frame heights of 25 to 45 mm - using just one type of insertion rail
- Thanks to the hollow chamber profile, the rail has a very high static load-bearing capacity for a larger span with fewer roof connection points
- With newly developed module clamps that combine the advantages of floating installation and firm clamping: no rattling of the modules and no thermally induced glass breakage or micro-cracks
- Aluminum spacers integrated in the module clamps make the installation and maintenance of additional rubbers et al. redundant
- Simple grounding with optional pre-assembled grounding clips
- Service-optimized: Modules can be loosened and removed with just a 5 mm Allen key thanks to maintenance gaps
Components
ELS Fix Clamp
Allows for thermal linear expansion despite the PV modules being firmly clamped. Clamping upwards ensures a flat module surface even with module frames that are less high. Spacers are structurally integrated.
ELS Insertion Rail
Mounting rails that are suitable for all module frame heights and particularly stable statically, as they are designed as a hollow chamber profile.
ELS Cross Adaptor
Ensures structurally identical properties in the area of the rails and the connections.
ELS Side Cladding
Continuous side panel for an all-round closed module field.
ELS Eaves Cladding
End panel for a high-quality look. Components and rails underneath remain hidden.

With the S:FLEX insertion system, PV systems can be implemented with module surfaces that fit harmoniously and coherently into the roof look, despite the low installation and maintenance costs. An innovative module clamp and the one-for-all insertion rail ensure that aesthetics does not mean sacrificing functionality .
Private PV system operators will primarily appreciate the looks and stability of this fastening solution, and the flexible application options are interesting for housing associations while installers will benefit from the service-friendliness and simplified system planning and warehousing.
